My Definition of an Educated Person

My definition of an educated person, is someone who takes what they know and learned, and puts it to good use. If someone knows information, and doesn't put it to use, then it's really no point of them learning anything. The key to knowledge in my eyes is using knowledge. Learning is definitely the key to success, and an educated person knows the importance of learning. An educated person takes what they have learned and puts it to good use, by helping society or sharing it with someone else. An educated person knows how to share knowledge. In my eyes, a very smart educated person takes what they have learned, and puts their knowledge to work, and makes money off of it.
An educated person knows both sides of the world. They know the streets, and the business sides of the world. It is very valuable to know both sides. If an educated person knows too much of the business side of the world, then the streets will take advantage of that person. If and educated person knows too much about the streets, and not enough about the business world, then the business world will take advantage of that person. So knowing both sides of the world is a key value that an educated person really needs.
Also, an educated person knows how to balance work and having fun. An educated person knows that if he or she does too much of the other, then they will be in very bad shape. Another thing that an educated person knows is that they need their family. That is what's wrong with a lot of people, they get too "educated" and they think that they don't need their families, and little do they know that they are very wrong.
